The Family.

Founded in 1991 by Edward Boyd, the company quickly Edward truly made it a family business when his younger brothers Tom, David and Clayton joined him in this exciting chapter of life. For decades, the company grew to a thriving business with over 100 banks & lenders - such as JPMorgan Chase, BOFA, Wells Fargo, United Wholesale lenders, Carrington Mortgage, Rocket Mortgage, PennyMac Loans, LendingTree... along with many others.

Since then, the business has expanded even further to include 3 locations so we can service almost any county of North Georgia. The North Eastern (Loganville Branch) is managed by Clayton Boyd and with a few other appraisers and trainees. Currently, we service Gwinnett, Walton, Barrow, Newton, Rockdale, Henry, DeKalb, Greene, Clarke and Fulton counties. Sadly, our brother and mentor Edward passed away of cancer a few years ago. We all miss him very much, but strive to keep his legacy alive by providing the best appraisal reports to our clients. Ed's wisdom and unyielding attention to detail is instilled in every new apprentice we train or appraiser we hire. The team is always growing, just like a family should.

Education and biography

  • Born in Dallas, TX
  • Served in the Army for 6 years in Gco,149th Aviation, 3rd Batt.
  • By the grace of GOD, transplanted back to my roots here in Georgia.
  • I graduated from UGA with a BS in Finance / specializing in appraising.
  • Completed specialized business management courses from GSU.
  • Participated in professional seminars and educational programs aimed at expanding knowledge in the field of real estate appraising.
  • Successfully owned and managed the appraisal firm for over 19 years.
Professional experience
I have over 23 years of experience as an appraiser in Georgia. My practice includes appraising, appraisal review, appraisal consulting, and apprentice training. My firm has appraised over 35,000 properties and in all manner of quality and conditions. New construction, Rehab, HELOC Repair / Improvement. FHA and VA Certified.
